When I got my new bunk bed daddy and mummy made me promise not to jump around on the top and to take extra care when I climb up and down the ladder. At first I was very careful and would go up and down very slowly, but then I got really confident using the ladder so I stopped being as careful. I love my bunk bed but I don’t really like going to sleep, I prefer playing, especially when my little sister joins me up top and sometimes she even falls asleep up there and we share my bed. So Daddy told me a story about my Aunty Jen, when she was little like me, she was being naughty on her top bunk and she fell off and broke her arm. I think daddy told me this to scare me a little and make sure I was being careful. Lets just say…. it didn’t work.
Last night whilst mummy and daddy were about to sit down to a juicy burger they heard a loud thud followed by some almighty screaming. I bet you have guessed what happened. I fell down the ladder and banged my arm and they knew just from looking at it, it was broken. At first when daddy told me we had to go to the hospital I was scared and I didn’t want to go, but then mummy told me we were going for an Friday night adventure. So I got in the taxi and we drove to Chelsea Westminster Hospital. Mummy talked to me the whole way telling me how brave I was and how every one at school was going to want paint or write on my cast.
I had the prettiest and nicest nurse look after me, her name was Nurse Ally. She was lovely and very gentle with my arm. I went into a room and they took photo’s of my bones which we could see, were very much broken. Doctor Will (who mummy said was also very ‘nice’) told me that the Orthopaedic surgeon will try to move my bones back into place, it was going to hurt a lot but as I was being so brave they knew I would be able to handle it. They gave me lots of delicious strawberry flavoured medicine and they went to work to fix my arm. It was so painful but I was super brave. Luckily the surgeon managed to manipulate the bones back into place and after another arm selfie and a full plaster cast we were sent home. It had been a long night so I was pretty tired and fell straight asleep on the taxi ride home.
Have you ever broke any bones?
Sad face 😦
It wasn’t hard for mummy to diagnose the break
Waiting for Dr Will to look at my arm and take some xrays
Morphine kicks in…. sleeptime

This long weekend is meant to traditionally mark the end of Summer, I haven’t seen summer since early July so she left the party before way this weekend! It’s been a mixed weekend of fun and being inside all day because it’s been quite dark and gloomy. Either way we have made the most of it and had some fun.
Well I must say, it’s been a while hasn’t it? Have you missed me?
We have been so busy having fun this summer, mummy and daddy both working full time and I am at school it means there are just not enough hours in the day. In my absence we celebrated our 4th year of Harlowsbeat. We have enjoyed every year don’t want to stop now…
Summer is back for a day, peaking at promising 29 degrees. We haven’t had a picnic just with mummy in so long it was nice to munch on some delicious sandwiches and cakes whilst topping up our faded holiday tan.
The rain is back tomorrow so don’t expect too many more of these pics for summer of 2015.
What a Christmas! !! Uncle Luke came to visit from Stuttgart and spend Christmas with our little family. Good news I must have made the nice list because Santa came to visit and left lots of presents and ate all the cookies.
We had a delicious seafood dinner ON Christmas eve and we stayed up very late unwrapping presents from all my family back in Australia. I miss and love you all thank you for all my beautiful presents. Ophelia enjoyed Xmas a lot more this year. She got so many toys and I helped her unwrap most of them.
Here are some pics of our family Christmas.
The other day I had a special surprise email. It was from the big guy at the north pole. Our favourite man at this time of year (sorry daddy). He had some special news for me. He bad received my letter and has been keeping an eye on me. He heard that sometimes I don’t listen or eat all my vegetables so he said I need to be extra good to make the nice list.
I think I have been exceptional this week…. I am sure mummy would say the same.
Yesterday daddy took me to school for the first time. I was so excited to show him my classroom and for him to meet all my new friends and my little boyfriend Benjamin. Daddy took me to school today because I had something even more special to show him…. my first nativity play. I was in a starring role – Angel. I was one of three Angels and have been spending time with Hayley practising my songs, the actions and my very important line. I had been practising so much as I didn’t want to mess up my first time on stage.
Mummy and daddy came along and were lucky enough to get a seat in the front row. Here is the video of my very first performance in front of a live audience.
Yesterday I wrote a letter to Santa. I have been a good girl all year so together Ophelia and I asked Father Christmas for some nice presents.
I have been so busy lately with Christmas preparations. I will be starring in my first Nativity play in 2 weeks. We have a Christmas fair at school and a trip to the theatre for a pantomime next week. I love my new school.
Here are some pics of my letter to Santa.
What did you ask Santa for Xmas?
Its that wonderful time of year when it gets dark really early, you can’t walk out the door unless you have a few layers on and all the christmas lights come out. My mummy loves this time of year but at the same times she misses the warm weather. I like this time of year because it means it is getting closer to christmas which means lots of fun Christmas events, yummy christmas food and of course PRESENTS!! I don’t think I know any kid my age that does’t love this time of year.
At the moment I am giving mummy a headache – almost every commercial on TV is about toys and of course I want every single one of them and have to tell her…. in fact I say it so often now Ophelia says ‘I want one of those’ when a toy ad comes on.
Obviously mummy isn’t going to buy me every toy I want because most of the time they look much better than what they really are. But she has promised a few and told me I need to let Santa know what I want the most as well. So mummy has done a wonderful job of putting together a list of toys that I would really like at Christmas and some clothes as my winter wardrobe is a little bit thin. She thought it would be helpful if anyone was stuck for ideas.
So here are the links for all our friends and Families – especially those in Oz. Mummy knows these websites are easy to buy online and deliver straight to our house. She will even wrap them and put them under the tree.
Basically you’ll find the list is full of Toys (Magiclip princesses, Disney Frozen toys, Minnie’s Boutique, Ben & Holly), Rain coats and wellies, Clothes
Toys R Us:
The last few weeks at school we have been learning about all the different seasons. At the moment all the leaves on the trees are changing colour and falling off the trees. Which means its…. Autumn! All the pavements are covered in gorgeous yellow leaves which I love to crunch or kick in the air on my way home from school. This week has been half term so no school! Hayley has been brilliant taking us to Acton Park and embracing all thing’s Autumn. Here are some of the pics she took!
Which is your favourite season??
